Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 30, 2026
Post Launch (“Post Launch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Post Launch, LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Post Launch application (including app.postlaunch.tech) and our website at postlaunch.tech (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, along with your role and organization within the Service. If you sign in with a password, it is stored in hashed form and we cannot read it.
Sign-in with Google or Microsoft. If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive basic profile information: your name, email address, whether your email is verified, and an account identifier. We do not receive your password, and we do not access your email, files, contacts, or calendar.
Content you upload. We store the files and materials you or your organization upload or create in the Service, such as video, audio, images, documents, comments, and related metadata (“Customer Content”).
Contact and organization records. Users may enter information about other people and companies they work with, such as names, email addresses, company names, and roles. We process this information on behalf of the user or organization that entered it.
Usage and device information. We automatically collect information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, actions taken, timestamps, and error reports.
Communications. If you contact us, we keep the contents of your message and our reply.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- authenticate users and keep accounts and content secure;
- send service-related emails, such as account notices, invitations, and security alerts;
- deliver project notifications and messages;
- respond to support requests;
- detect, troubleshoot, and fix errors, and improve the Service; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Customer Content for advertising.
3. Your Content
You and your organization retain ownership of your Customer Content. We access Customer Content only as needed to provide the Service, to assist you when you request support, to protect the security of the Service, or to comply with law. Access within our company is limited to authorized personnel.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
-
Service providers that operate parts of the Service on our behalf. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us:
- Amazon Web Services: application hosting, file storage, and email delivery
- Backblaze B2: file storage
- Mux: video processing and streaming
- Sentry: error monitoring, which may include information about the signed-in user when an error occurs
- Slack: delivery of project notifications and messages
- Your organization. Content and activity in a workspace are visible to that workspace's members according to the permissions its administrators set.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Post Launch.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
- With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your permission.
5. Google User Data
Post Launch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use information received through Google sign-in only to create and authenticate your Post Launch account. We do not use it for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the Service or as required by law.
6. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, encryption of stored files and backups at rest, multi-factor authentication, access controls, and activity logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
No artificial intelligence. Post Launch does not use artificial intelligence or machine learning to process Customer Content, does not send Customer Content to any AI service, and does not use Customer Content to train any model.
Security incidents. If we confirm a security incident that affects your Customer Content or personal information, we will notify the affected organization's administrators without undue delay, and no later than 24 hours after we confirm it, and keep them updated until it is resolved.
7. Data Retention
We keep account information and Customer Content while your account or your organization's workspace is active, or until it is deleted. Files moved to the trash are permanently deleted after 30 days. You or your organization may request deletion of an account and its associated data at any time by contacting us, and we will process the request within a reasonable time unless we are required to keep certain information for legal reasons. Copies in backups are removed as backups rotate.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. If your account is managed by your organization, we may refer your request to your organization's administrator.
California residents. Under California law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction of your information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Where Data Is Stored
The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
